Terms of Service

1. The service

Transit ("we", "us") is an automated press & promotion bureau operated by Umbra Group. When you submit a release, we generate press materials (press kit, EPK, media pitches, outreach copy) in English and Spanish, distribute pitches to a curated network of media outlets and curators, and report activity on a campaign dashboard.

2. What we promise — and what we don't

We promise professional-quality materials and real, documented outreach to outlets matched to your release. We do not promise coverage, playlist placement, streams, or any specific editorial outcome — no honest PR service can. Editorial decisions belong to the outlets.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to your music, images, and biographical material. By submitting, you grant us a limited license to use that material to create and distribute your campaign (press kits, pitches, social copy). You confirm you own or control the rights to everything you submit.

4. Generated materials

Campaign materials we generate for you are yours to use. Our materials are produced with AI assistance, reviewed through automated quality controls, and grounded in the information you provide — please review them; you can request revisions before distribution.

5. Accuracy of your intake

Our materials are only as truthful as your intake. Don't submit false claims (fake credits, invented press, inflated numbers); we may pause campaigns built on material we believe to be false.

6. Payment

Campaigns are priced per release, payable before distribution. If we fail to deliver the materials of your tier, you get a full refund. Fees for campaigns already distributed are non-refundable, since the work cannot be recalled.

7. Conduct

You won't use Transit to distribute unlawful, hateful, or deceptive content. We may decline any submission at our discretion with a full refund.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the campaign in question.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
