1. What we collect

When you submit a release or join the waitlist we collect what you give us: your name, email, artist/project information, music links, biography, and campaign details. We also keep operational records of your campaign (materials generated, pitches sent, coverage logged).

2. What we use it for

To run your campaign: generating press materials, pitching outlets on your behalf, showing you a live dashboard, and emailing you about your campaign's progress. We do not sell your data, run ads, or share your information with third parties beyond the service providers below.

3. Who processes it

We use a small set of processors to operate the service: Vercel (hosting), Google (campaign records), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payment, when applicable), and Anthropic (AI generation of campaign materials from your intake). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

4. What outlets see

Pitching is the product: the press materials you approve โ€” artist name, release info, bio, links โ€” are shared with media outlets and curators as part of your campaign. We never share your contact email with outlets without your consent; pitches go out from our own address.

5. Retention

Campaign records are kept while your account/campaign is active and for our operational history afterward. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time and we will remove it from our active systems.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data by writing to hello@transit.fm. We answer within 30 days.

7. Cookies

The marketing site uses no tracking cookies. The dashboard uses only what is technically necessary (your language/theme preference, stored in your own browser).

8. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new date.
