UMBRA GROUP / TRANSIT / BRAND IDENTITY V2 / LOGO REVISIONS
Logo. Revisions.
The circle-with-T. avatar is out. Below are the alternatives across
three directions — pick one or mix and match. Each mark has a
Download SVG button. The wordmark TRANSIT. stays
untouched in all cases; this is only the compact mark used for favicons, social
avatars, and tight UI.
T.
Rejected
Circle + T.
Reads soft and generic. Conflicts with the angular Barlow Condensed wordmark and the squares-grid motif. Removed from the brand spec.
Direction 01 — Square / Tile
Lean into the squares.
The grid is the brand's strongest motif. The compact mark becomes a tile that
sits inside the grid, not on top of it.
A — White Tile / T.SQUARE · 1:1
Bold press-stamp energy. Reads as a logotype, not an avatar. Black T. inside a white square — high-contrast, print-native, scales to a 16px favicon cleanly.
B — Volt Tile / TRN.SQUARE · 4:3
Volt tile with a dark monogram. The most "branded" option — instantly recognizable in a crowded feed. Use this on Instagram, app icons, and OG images.
C — Stack / T. + RuleSQUARE · 1:1
Echoes the wordmark structure (mark + transmission rule) at compact scale. Quietly systematic. Best for in-product UI badges and document headers.
A2 — Dark Tile on VoltSQUARE · 1:1
Inverse pairing of A. For volt-background contexts (header, CTA cards, hero stickers).
Direction 02 — Pure Typographic
No container. Just type.
No frame, no shape — the typography itself is the mark. Most flexible for
print, OG cards, and any context where the wordmark is too long.
D — Naked T.TYPE-ONLY
Just the letter T and the volt period. The most minimal possible mark. Best for documents, email signatures, watermarks.
E — Naked TRN. + RuleTYPE-ONLY
Three-letter monogram with the transmission rule beneath. Reads as press/broadcast shorthand — feels like a station ID.
F — Italic TR.TYPE-ONLY
Italic-only outlier. Slants forward — motion, transit, in-progress. The only italic mark in the system.
D2 — Naked T. / LightTYPE-ONLY · LIGHT
Light-mode variant of D. Solid black, no volt. For print, letterhead, and contexts where volt would be loud.
Direction 03 — System / Utility
A glyph from the pipeline.
Abstract marks tied to the press-pipeline diagram. These read as functional
glyphs — broadcast, signal, transit — rather than logotypes.
G — Signal BarsGLYPH
Broadcast strength bars, last bar volt. Reads as "signal active." Pairs with the SYSTEMS ACTIVE status indicator.
H — Pipeline ArrowGLYPH + WORD
The arrow already used in your hero diagram (▸ ARTIST SUBMISSION). Promoting it to the wordmark ties brand and product diagram together.
I — Volt SlashGLYPH
Skewed volt slash next to T. Punk-magazine energy. Strongest as a sticker / loading state.
J — Pipeline NodeGLYPH
Treats T. as a node in the press pipeline. Most "infrastructural" of the set. Best for technical contexts, dashboards.

Note: shown at thumbnail size. At full feed size, type weight reads stronger and the volt is louder. Want me to export these as actual 1080-px JPGs for scheduling? Just say the word.

Recommendation
Lock B for social, D for everything else.
B (Volt Tile / TRN.) is the strongest social-feed mark — it's
instantly Transit and survives a thumbnail. D (Naked T.) is the
cleanest type-only mark for favicons, documents, and email. Together they cover
every compact-mark surface without a circle. Reply with which letter(s) to lock
and I'll fold them into the brand-identity spec.
