Beginning in 2005, Sam Pressman quickly became interested in dance music after being introduced to it by his former college roommates. Fast forward to 2008 and after becoming involved in the NYC club scene, Sam found his passion for dance music culture.

2010 brought good things including the purchase of his first MIDI controller. Getting his feet wet with Digital DJing, this is how he learned the basic ins and outs of mixing.

Furthering his involvement, Sam joined the likes of internet radio station forums DigitallyImported and Afterhours.FM, where he became an active part of the community of people who shared his common interest. There, he met Callie, who would soon help jump-start his career, inviting him to join the new and upcoming radio station "Party103" as a resident DJ. After working with the Digital DJ platform for some time, Sam took on the moniker "Infected St0rm" and bought CDJs in late August 2013. Since then, he has hosted a weekly live radio show in New York called Cloud 9 Sessions, where he is unafraid to experiment with new sounds. Upon the beginning of 2016, Sam joined the likes of RWD.FM as a current weekly resident which now also enables him to expand across a diverse array of musical taste.

Today, Sam can be found playing a spectrum of styles in a single set - from techno, to trance, to house, & dubstep and back again. He's a consistent feature on PARTY103's special events, where his expertise and innovative use of energy flow keep the audience entertained until the very end. Sam is persistent in his originality, bringing limitless hours of dance floor experience and the fusion of multiple genres into his sets.

2015 proved to be his busiest year to date, with an appearance in one of New York City's most relevant venues, Pacha NYC, and the start of his new podcast, Breakneck Beats.

Recently, Sam's performed at Le Poisson Rouge, NYC (2016) as well as The Gateway in Brooklyn. Notably, alongside Transit.FM's residents Kush Jones, BOJAQ, and Joe Aycox (Kellen303), the event, curated by Transit.FM's Co-Founder, Heather Schwartz back in December 2016, became a great night with friendly people.

This all came together in May 2017, where you can find him performing a bi-weekly show on Transit.FM every 2nd & 4th Thursday at 10:30pm!
